Lemon is an acid
Despite that lemon juice is an acid and goes into your body as an acid, it helps to make your body alkaline. How do lemons do this? Once you squeeze the acid liquid out of a lemon, and drink it with water, it is digested and gets into your blood stream. It passes through the veins and into the liquid near your cells. Lemon nutrient then enter your cells. Your cell uses up the lemon acid nutrients and creates a residue. This residue is a basic substance that is excreted from your cells and populates your lymph liquid as a basic solution or basic element.
