I have always been an unapologetic skeptic. Where I grew up, it was somewhat of a survival instinct. Any city kid will tell you that a little bit of disbelief goes a long way towards keeping you safe and out of trouble. So when I heard about all of the profitable franchise businesses available from one of my friends, I immediately scoffed at the idea. I didn’t believe in any of his get rich quick schemes in the past, and I certainly didn’t believe in this one. Perhaps there were profitable franchise opportunities somewhere, but I figured that for every good opportunity there were six duds that would waste years of your life and make no money. I don’t want any part of that type of business ventures.
